The Delhi High Court has declined to issue directions to the Speaker for a special sitting to table CAG reports. While noting the inordinate delay by the Delhi Government in tabling the reports, the Court refrained from interfering with the functioning of the House. Justice Sachin Datta observed that tabling the reports is a constitutional imperative but maintained the Court cannot direct the Speaker on House sittings.
