Billionaire industrialist and Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani on Tuesday said his youngest son Jeet will get married on February 7 in a “simple and traditional” manner. Jeet, the industrialist’s youngest son, will get married to Diva Jaimin Shah, daughter of a Surat-based businessman.
Talking about the much-anticipated wedding during his visit to the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Gautam Adani said, “Jeet’s wedding is scheduled for February 7. Our activities are like ordinary people. The ceremony will be very simple and conducted in full traditional ways.”
When asked whether Jeet Adani’s marriage would be a Maha Kumbh of celebrities, the industrialist said, “Bilkul nahi hoga” (No, it won’t be).
Gautam Adani, his wife and Adani Foundation chairperson, Priti Adani, and elder son Karan Adani attended the Maha Kumbh Mela earlier today.
Jeet Adani got engaged to Diva Jaimin Shah on March 12, 2023, in a private ceremony in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad. Diva is the daughter of diamond trader Jaimin Shah, known for his successful business, C. Dinesh & Co. Pvt. Ltd. The engagement was a low-key affair.
Jeet Adani joined his father’s business in 2019 after completing his graduation from University of Pennsylvania – School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Jeet was first appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Adani Group and is now spearheading group’s other ventures, including Adani Airports and Adani Digital Labs.
Notably, the Adani Group has partnered with the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) to provide free meals to nearly one lakh people daily at the ongoing Maha Kumbh. The meal will be provided to devotees throughout the religious fair which started on January 13 and will conclude on February 26.
