Saif Ali Khan Attacker Needed Money For Mother’s Treatment, Planned To Rob Rich People
Bangladeshi national Shariful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir, alias Vijay Das (30), attempted to rob Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan’s home because he needed money for his ailing mother’s treatment. The accused had also lost a housekeeping job in December last year, leaving him without money, reports have claimed.
Shehzad chose Saif Ali Khan’s home because he was driven by extreme poverty, and wanted to steal the belongings of someone rich. He also planned to escape back to Bangladesh following the crime, a report with the Times Of India claimed. READ MORE

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently reviewed the progress of six upcoming metro train projects and said they were emerging as one of the preferred public transport systems in cities. The PM reviewed the progress of Delhi metro (phase IV), Patna metro (phase I), Bhopal metro, Indore metro, Agra metro and Kanpur metro.
“Considering that more and more cities are coming up with Metro Projects as one of the preferred public transport systems, conducting workshops for experience sharing for cities where projects are under implementation or in the pipeline, to capture the best practices and learnings from the drawbacks are advised,” say the minutes of the meeting, quoting the directions of the PM.
