Prime Minister Narendra Modi and United States President Donald Trump will meet on February 13, sources told India Today TV on Monday. The development came days after the Ministry of External Affairs said it was in talks with the US for an early visit of the Prime Minister to the US.
This will be the first meeting between the two leaders since Trump took oath as President for the second time.
Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States on January 20. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar represented India at Trump’s swearing-in ceremony at the invitation of the US government and carried a letter from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Trump.
