Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray recently addressed key issues, including the controversy around the film “Chaava,” his party’s poor performance in the Maharashtra assembly polls, and his political stance.
Thackeray praised the film “Chaava,” based on the life of Sambhaji Raje, and urged director Laxman Utekar to remove a controversial scene from the trailer showing Sambhaji dancing with a Lezim. He called the film a matter of pride for Maharashtra and encouraged people to watch it.
Reflecting on the recent assembly polls, Thackeray expressed shock over the MNS’s defeat. He questioned the election process, citing cases where his party’s candidates received surprisingly low votes. “Did the votes disappear?” he asked.
Responding to the allegations of changing his political stance, Thackeray pointed out that other parties, like the Shiv Sena and NCP, have also shifted alliances for convenience. He reaffirmed his commitment to his ideology, Marathi pride, and party workers.
Thackeray announced plans to introduce a “code of conduct” to ensure discipline within the MNS. He stressed on his goal to lead a strong and vibrant party, ready to face future challenges.
The speech highlighted Thackeray’s focus on reflection, action, and his unwavering dedication to his party and principles.
