Flex boards featuring Congress leaders have been banned in Nagarlle village, Nanjangud taluk in Mysuru district, Karnataka which falls under the Varuna constituency of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. The ban was announced via a flex board installed in the village, citing dissatisfaction with the Congress party’s failure to address the village’s concerns, particularly with regard to fund allocation for local development projects.
The flex board, which was reportedly put up by disgruntled youths from the village, expressed their frustration with the political leadership. Local youth were vocal about their discontent, highlighting the lack of attention given to the village’s needs by Congress leaders. The flex was subsequently removed by the rest of the villagers, signalling an attempt to curb the growing unrest.
The incident, which has since gone viral on social media, drew significant attention, with people commenting on the ongoing tension in the region regarding political leadership and fund distribution.
