She was Born on June 20th 1958 in a Santhal family in the Village of Uparbeda, Mayurbhanj District, Odisha.Droupadi Murmu belongs in a middleclass family, Her Father name is Biranchi Narayan Tudu occupation as a small peasant. Since 1994,President Murmu has worked as a junior assistant at the irrigation department of the Government of Odisha.After it she served herself as a School teacher at Aurobindo Integral Education and Research Centre in Rairangpur.

Begging of the career Droupadi Murmu was appointed as the councillor of Rainagpur Nagar Panchayat as an Independent candidate for the first in her life on 1997 as the party of Bharatiya Janata party.Her first term in the Odisha Legislative Assembly was in 2000, when she was elected from Rairangpur Assembly constituency.During the BJP and BJD coalition government in Odisha, she served as Minister of State with Independent Charge for Commerce and Transportation from 6th March 2000 to 6th August 2002, and Fisheries and Animal Resources Development from 6th August 2002 to 16th May 2004.

On 18th May 2015 Droupadi Murmu taken th oath as the 9th Governor of Jharkhand.Throughout her six-year tenure as a governor, the BJP was in power in the Jharkhand government, and in the Union Government as well. She appointed Hemant Soren as chief minister of Jharkhand in 2019.
